ASSOB stats show Capital Raising Platforms strength with investors

ASSOB’s Capital Raising Platform has recently passed $120 million in funds raised. It has looked back on the past 5 years to see what the stats tell. While several companies have gone from ASSOB to stock exchanges like the ASX and others have exited through trade sales it is interesting to see what the stats tell us about investors.

Finding companies to list their opportunity on a website or in a magazine is not difficult but getting investors to invest via them is.

Here is a look at the past 5 years:

To summarise, 2005 individual investors took out their cheque books and on average invested $38,203 in companies on the ASSOB platform. Many invested in more than one company and while every listing has 20 red squares to be filled the majority seem to only require 11 investors. With these stats and an average raise of $503,305 these figures clearly show the value of the ASSOB platform to the early stage sector.
